Mike Shanahan Actually Is Senile; Signs Keary Colbert

Although I’m scared to actually write that, since I think Shanny might personally hunt me down (I can see him pulling a Danny McGrath after he retires). However, when you go out and give Keary Colbert a three year deal with a $2.5 million signing bonus. I ask you, sir, like Greg Cote, have you watched the Carolina Panthers over the past few years? Colbert is absolutely horrendous.

Keary Colbert, a former second-round pick of the Carolina Panthers, has reached an agreement with the Denver Broncos on a three-year contract worth $7.2 million, plus a $2.5 million signing bonus…

And reportedly, Denver is going to make Ashley Lelie, Jr. Colbert their number two receiver. Or at least let him compete with Brandon Stokley for the spot. Holy Moses. Brandon Marshall is good and should help open things up for Colbert, so … oh wait. He’s got a chance to play across from Steve Smith. Geh. If he blows up I’m going to be absolutely furious.
