Panthers Sign O-G Keydrick Vincent
By Brinson | March 3, 2008
Ah, the sweet stench of success that follows with inking backup offensive lineman. Big time baby! Seriously, I’m fine with this move.
Vincent, who is 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds, will be 30 in April. He played in eight games for the Cardinals last season, but has participated in 67, with 49 starts, in his career.
In 2004, Vincent started all 16 games for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Vincent, who played collegiately at Mississippi, is expected to provide offensive line depth for Carolina.
We need more offensive lineman so that way Michael Turn…er, DeAngelo Williams can run (by himself? really?) wild. But more importantly, we need depth. Not having offensive line depth is like having Mittens on your team. You die.
