Gross Accepts Tender for Franchise Tag
By Brinson | March 20, 2008
After the Cats stuck Jordan Gross with the franchise tag, all that was left in terms of getting ready for next year was to have him agree to the offer. Because, you know, he kind of had too. Plus, he gets over seven mil this year, so what’s the big problem, right? ITP reports that the team and Gross are going to go back to the table but are probably still pretty far away in terms of a long term deal. So, um, nothing shocking. But it’s always comforting to know that our 27 year old o-line anchor is coming back. Even after we made him. Please lock him. Mucho gusto.

I’d give him any amount of money if he could figure out how to become a franchise LEFT TACKLE. The money is in protecting the blindside, Mr. Gross.
Bridges should be OK at right tackle, assuming he is packing heat on Sundays.
