    Blog Wars: Saints v. Panthers

    By Brinson | June 26, 2008

I’m not sure how I stumbled across this little blog skirmish, but apparently there’s a heated, albeit humorous, fight going down between Chicks in the Huddle (a Saints blog) and Cat’s Crave (a Panthers blog). Cat’s Crave posted something about the top 10 reasons why the Saints suck. It’s not particularly hysterical (imho) and is calling New Orleans out for its murder rate really kosher? Why don’t you just make an underwater joke if you’re going to go that far?

It’s also missing the obvious “you start an ECU graduate in your receiving corps” knock. Which is a freebie. Anywho, Chicks in the Huddle responded with their list of the top 10 reasons why the Panthers suck (slash are gay, apparently.) It’s a lot cruder, and thusly more funny.

But the point I think she’s missing is that we have lesbian cheerleaders who fight each other in bars. That’s not why we suck. It’s why we rule. And the Saints are ultimately responsible for every horribly done, unbearable Manning montage that we will see for the next four generations and 5,000 years. Also, New Orleans: Harry Connick and his Lincoln commercial are your fault. Not to mention: Reggie Bush.
