Karma Train: Steve Smith Concussed
By Brinson | August 11, 2008

Clearly the act of a delusionally concussed man.
You may recall Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers wideout … made some noise recently by doing something that involved his fist shattering Ken Lucas’ nose or something thereabouts? Yeah, can’t really recall. Well, Smuff got his come-uppins on Saturday, apparently, and had to miss practice today because of a concussion.
Smith took a helmet-to-helmet shot from a Colts defender on a 19-yard reception from Matt Moore, Smith’s only reception of the game. Coach John Fox said Smith, who is suspended for the Panthers’ first two regular-season games, was day-to-day with the injury.
That’s why … you never use a one armed man to teach someone a lesson punch a teammate in the face when he’s not looking. Smith is already out for two games in the regular season, so it’s hard to imagine this actually affecting him once we kick off the regular season.
However (*stupid optimism alert*), I could see people doubting him over this, him only getting more teed off than before, and going even more apesmell on opposing defenses this year.
