Ken Lucas Back at Practice
By Brinson | August 18, 2008
Good news on the injury front: Ken Lucas, late of the blackened eye and shattered grill-piece, was back at practice.
Cornerback Ken Lucas returned to practice Saturday for the first time since he broke his nose in a training-camp fight with receiver Steve Smith two weeks ago.Coach John Fox said he didn’t know if Lucas, who had surgery to repair the nose, would play in next Saturday’s exhibition against the Washington Redskins.
It’s great news, even if he doesn’t play.
Weird isn’t it, that Lucas is back to practicing before Steve Smith, who is still concussed?
