Hope You Bet ‘The Field’: Panther Colclough Arrested

There’s been a lot of Vegas prop action on “Next NFL Player to Get Arrested” with Chris Henry at an astounding 4/6 and Pacman Jones at 1/1. Richard Colclough, a Carolina Panthers defensive back, is the big “winner” though, as he was arrested last night/this morning for a DUI.
He was arrested at 2:35 a.m., nearly 15 hours from when the Panthers submit final cuts to the league.It makes you wonder if he’ll be among them. The Panthers could keep C.J. Wilson and Dante Wesley and not be that much worse off, since Colclough failed to claim the kick return job as they had hoped.
Yeah, you can pretty much count on not making the team when you go out, get s-canned and drive your car around town right before the team is going to make cuts. What would be really awkward is if Colclough was told he was making the team and decided to celebrate.
