Moose to Get Loose in Aught-Eight?

    By Brinson | February 25, 2008

mushin-muhammad.jpgWord on the street, and by “street” I mean “email from Zeke”, plus later confirmed by our amigos at NFL.com is that the P-Cats are contemplating bringing back Mushin Muhammad, who was a nine year veteran of the Cack-a-lack and a fan favorite while with the Panthers (didn’t hurt that he piled up 1,400 receiving yards the year before he left either).

Do we like it? Of course we do. We need a second receiver who will actually get his ass in a film room and watch some tape, and he probably won’t cost nearly as much as he did for the Bears (that signing, at the time and now in hindsight, was silly; why do general managers keep falling for contract year blowups?). Plus, there’s the added bonus of being able to yell “Moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooose” loudly every time he catches. Let’s go ahead and set the over/under on Brian Baldinger “jokes” about that not being “boo” at 12.5.
