Thursday, July 3rd, 2008Yes, you read that correctly. Brett Favre, according to PFT, could possibly, maybe, potentially, if-he-were-to-comeback, want to be a Panther.
We’re now hearing that Cook is privately saying that Favre wants to play for the . . . . drum roll, please . . . oh, wait, it’s in the headline . . . Carolina Panthers.

Tashard Makes an Excellent … Choice
Tuesday, July 1st, 2008Dallas Cowboys rookie and former Ga-Techer Tashard Choice performs a pretty entertaining skit at the NFL Rookie Symposium. Same thing happened to me as soon as I got this blog, (”Brinson, can I get some post-time?”, “Dude-brah, do you get any tickets?”, etc, etc.), so I feel his pain.

Dwayne Jarrett Pleads Guilty to DWI
Monday, June 23rd, 2008Pleading guilty is usually a bad thing. Except when you’re famous and, you know, caught. Which would be the case with Dwayne Jarrett, who blew a .12 earlier this year in Mint Hill near Charlotte. And now, Jarrett has pleaded guilty to DUI and will get off ridiculously lightly.
Jarrett surrendered his driver’s license and was [...]
Fast Train to Tampa?
Monday, June 16th, 2008Since the boys at ITP already semi-ganked the Willie Nelson joke, I’m going the other way with it. Anyway, the point of it all is that the Panthers are thinking about Tampa, and not in the way that you would think.
Because normally, they’re discussing how to take out another one of Chucky’s quarterbacks arch-rival Tampa [...]
Fox Digging the Vibe Out of Training Camp
Thursday, June 12th, 2008John Fox is liking what he’s seeing from training camp in Spartanburg, SC, where it is unholy levels of hot right now (NC is a total nightmare and south of the border it doesn’t get any better). Jonathan Stewart is a little healthier and it appears that the O-line could be big/dangerous/a surprise.
On the makeover [...]
Otah Chats with the Observer
Monday, June 2nd, 2008Nice little Q&A — although it’s fairly bland per standard newspaper talks to rookie offensive lineman who isn’t about to fire off any crazy quotes — from ITP with Jeff Otah. The first year tackle is still on the sidelines which means that his role and what he sees on the field is pretty limited. [...]
Dan Morgan Retires; Goes Out, Well, Not at the Bottom
Tuesday, May 20th, 2008The Dan Morgan Era, which may be a stretch, ended Tuesday. It would best be defined by four really, really, really hard hitting games a season. Which is a shame, because Morgan was a ridiculous talent, who could simply never stay healthy. Or perhaps, never play a speed that would allow him to stay healthy. [...]
John Fox Speaks to the Press on Sundry Topics
Friday, May 16th, 2008Via the Charlotte Observer and ITP come a slew of questions that members of the media (for the most part) asked John Fox during a press conference yesterday. The first one — which comes from a partner in the P-Cats ownership — is probably my favorite. The rest are after the jump, with little to [...]
